Growing with Hydroponics

A lot of people have never heard of hydroponics and if they have they tend to think of marijuana. This reputation is a bit unfair because it’s a system which can be used to grow a wide variety of plants. Actually, hydroponics have been used since the gardens of Babylonia. Hydroponics is all about growing plants in conditions that don’t use soil. Instead of growing them in soil you have them in a substrate such as gravel. They get their nutrients from a liquid feeder. The reason this system is so good is that the end result is crops which are relatively disease and pest free plus they are larger and healthier.
